This post was actually inspired by another blog post that I saw whilst scrolling the internet so I thought I'd share my version with you guys.
1. Lead your life with your heart
Stand tall and you'll immediately feel a boost of confidence. Just because you can't see it in the mirror, doesn't mean others can't see it. Follow your heart once in a while rather than using your head and letting other people influence the way you live. Your heart is working hard for you day in, day out. It deserves to lead.
2. Smile
It's contagious. Be happy about the blessings in your life; there's always a reason to smile. You'll make someone's day!
3. Act like you're on a mission
Give yourself a mission; something to complete by the end of the day. You'll feel fierce and confident straight away and there's nothing better than having the feeling of accomplishment at the end of the day.
4. Step outside of your comfort zone
Try something new and overcome a fear. Whether it be signing up to a race, doing a new activity or simply talking to someone new. The more you do this, the more you'll feel like you can take on the world.
5. Be bold
Wear bright colours, red lipstick and never be afraid to go after what you want.
6. Break a sweat
Working out will make you feel confident and amazing! Go the gym, do a home workout or just simply go for a fast paced walk. It increases your endorphins to help you feel happy, reduces stress and tones your muscles.
7. Find the beauty in others
Compliment people and let them know how well they're doing. Express your feelings and if you love someone, tell them. Focusing on what you love in others is one of the best ways to feel great about yourself. Nobody's perfect but everyone's perfect in their own way.
8. Erase the negative talk
Whether it's negative thoughts or negative talk, it needs to go! Each time you catch yourself thinking or saying something unkind or negative about yourself or anyone else, just correct it. If someone says something negative about themselves then correct them and give them a compliment. There's always a positive!
9. Dress to impress
Take a little extra time and care by dressing your best wherever you go - even if it's the gym. This isn't essential but you'll feel a lot more confident in yourself. When you feel good, you'll go the extra mile, whether it's at work, home or at the gym.
10. Reward yourself
Do things that make you smile and feel pampered often. You deserve it. Take a bubble bath, whack a face mask on, treat yourself to new clothes or take a break to watch your favourite film. It's the little things that make a difference.
