It's so important to stay hydrated for so many different reasons! Not only does drinking water keep you healthy, it boosts your immune system and makes things like your hair and nails grow. Drinking water does wonders but I for one always struggle to drink enough so I use this little trick!
I saw this trick online a couple of months ago and have used it ever since. My goal is to drink at least 3 liters of water a day. So the rule that I use is that I must drink a liter of water before each meal (Breakfast, lunch and dinner). It gets a little annoying at times as sometimes I'm so hungry that I just want to eat but that determines me to drink my water faster. The faster I drink it, the faster I can eat.
I tend to keep water on my bedside table so I start drinking my water as soon as I wake up. Once I've finished my water I can then have my meal but as soon as I've finished my meal, I start drinking my next liter so that I'm ready for my next meal.
This doesn't mean that you can't drink other drinks as well or that you can't have a different drink with your meal, as long as you drink all of your water, you're free to drink what you like!
