I have been through ridiculous amounts of foundation and I could never seem to find one that I really liked; Either the colour wasn't quite right, I ended up patchy half way through the day or it just gave me that caked look.
I’d been admiring the Revalon Photoready Foundation for quite some time but couldn't bring myself to buy it as it was £12.99 but such a small bottle. I went through so many different foundations and could not find one I liked ANYWHERE! So I decided to give the Revalon Photoready Foundation a go and I absolutely loved it!
I have the foundation in the shade Golden Beige as I’m naturally quite tanned and it fits my skin tone perfectly! I like to apply my foundation with a stipple brush and normally find that it leaves my foundation quite liney and I have to go over it and rub it in with my hands but when using my stipple brush with Revalon Photoready Foundation, it rubs in perfectly and gives me and even tone all over my face.
One thing I really love about this foundation is that it gives amazing coverage! If I’m going for a natural makeup look for the day, I tend to just apply a thin layer just to even out my skin tone and cover any blemishes, whereas if I’m going out for an occasion, I’ll apply an extra layer just to give that little bit more coverage.
The one downside I would say that this foundation has is that I feel it has to be set with a powder. I do know a few people that use this foundation without a powder and don’t have any trouble but I find that if I don’t set it with a thin layer of powder, it doesn't stay on for as long as I’d like it to but either way that’s not a big problem!
I use this foundation religiously! It gives me maximum coverage, is the perfect colour for my face, is easy to conceal/contour over without removing any makeup and although the bottle is quite small; lasts for so long! I’d definitely recommend trying Revalon Photoready foundation, I guarantee you'll love it too!
